Group Financial Accountant
Job description
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Finance, the Group Financial Accountant will be responsible for management of the financial accounting team across the Inspire Wellbeing Group.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring the completeness of the financial transactions of the organisation are completed in a timely and accurate manner with appropriate back up.
- Processing monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations, ensuring these are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ensuring monthly income and expenditure reconciliations are completed in timely and accurate manner.
- Ensuring financial returns to external bodies are completed as required.
- Reviewing and improving financial control processes within the organisation, including the completion of month end process within deadline.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Fully qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent).
- 3 years’ experience in a similar accounting role, in a large organisation with more than 250 employees on payroll.
- 2 years’ experience in a line management or supervisory capacity.
- Experience of preparing statutory accounts.
- Experience of financial control operations.
- Experience in accounting and financial systems.
- Experience in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel to Intermediate level or above.

Role is covering a period of 12 Maternity Cover. Location: 10-20 Lombard Street, Lombard House.
