Quality Engineer - Ballymoney - Permanent. Join a leading international engineering company based in Ballymoney, now recruiting for an experienced and motivated Quality Engineer to join their quality team. About the role: From £29,000 to £39,000 per annum Monday to Thursday 39 hours per week Attractive benefits package including Private Health Care.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality support to customers and internal production teams.
• Manage product approval activities, including FAIR validation and internal audits.
• Identify and implement corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.
• Oversee the Material Review Board (MRB) process for returned goods.
• Carry out product and process audits to maintain compliance.
• Contribute to New Product and Process Development (NPPD).
• Ensure products meet quality sign-off and introduce containment for non-conformances.
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams and suppliers to drive quality improvements.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a quality role within manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and weld symbols.
• Experience in machining, fabrication, assembly, or paint shop environments.
• Knowledge of quality procedures and strong problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of statistical fault-finding techniques.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
