Job description

To be responsible for the monthly Tool Box Talks, To cover in absence of cleaners and mobile cleaning specialists, To ensure that the cleaning schedule for all areas is carried out satisfactorily, To ensure that a duties checklist is placed in each area and that all cleaning operatives complete on a daily basis, To ensure that management is made aware of any problems identified during the course of the work and if necessary to security, To ensure correct time keeping and attendance and that all members adhere to company policy of signing in and out of the premises, To ensure that all cleaning operatives wear the appropriate security identification To identify individual training needs of employees and to ensure that appropriate training is delivered to develop the employee, To ensure designated areas and areas notified as short notice are cleaned to a high standard of presentation, To ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are used in the correct standard, To ensure all employees report to work in uniform, To ensure a clean and tidy working environment is achieved, To ensure a safe working environment when working is achieved, To ensure that refuse is disposed of in a safe manner as necessary and at the end of each shift, To ensure department stock takes are undertaken.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 12 months cleaning experience required Previous Supervisory experience is desirable but not required Access NI will be required (see below)
