Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Metal Fabricator to join our team at LTS Based just outside Maghaberry. This role requires the ability to work with various materials. As a Metal Fabricator, you will play a crucial part in assembling and fabricating metal components for our projects.

Responsibilities

• Operate power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and assemble metal parts.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations.
• Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks.
• Fabricate components according to specifications and engineering drawings.
• Perform welding tasks using stick welding techniques to join metal pieces securely.
• Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in metal fabrication.
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to the trade.
• Strong knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot fabrication issues.
• Experience in welding, specifically Tig welding methods.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Desirable Skills

• TIG welding experience.
• Fabrication background.
