Spray Painter - Magherafelt We’re recruiting for a Spray Painter to join a busy production team within a well-established company. In this role, you’ll be responsible for surface preparation, applying coatings to specification, and ensuring a high-quality finish across all products. You may also be required to carry out detailed hand brushing on hard-to-reach areas. This position would suit someone with a steady hand, strong attention to detail, and a good understanding of paint spraying techniques. Responsibilities

• Following work instructions for each individual project to ensure specification compliance
• Removing rust and other loose materials using a wire brush/appropriate equipment.
• Filling, sanding, and smoothing surfaces that need to be sprayed.
• Applying masking tape and coverings over areas that are not being sprayed when required.
• Selecting and mixing the required coating liquids.
• Selecting and attaching the correct spray nozzle to ensure the desired quality.
• Spraying machines, products, and wall areas using industry techniques.
• Cleaning spray cans, nozzles, and other spraying equipment after each spray job.
• Inspecting and assessing spray coatings after the paint has dried to ensure desired quality has been achieved, in line with BS EN 1090.
• Wear appropriate PPE required for spray painting.
