Job description

We are seeking a Night Shift Production Supervisor for our client, a gluten free bakery that supplies most of their produce to America and Australia based in Crossmaglen.

Responsibilities

• To ensure correct and efficient set up of production lines including pre start check paperwork are completed in full.
• To work towards Production KPI in relation to output, waste and cost.
• To organize ingredients and packaging required to fulfil production orders and volume.
• To execute the manager/supervisor's production plan adhering to allergen running orders set out by the manager/supervisor.
• To check that product, meet company requirements and customer specification.
• To complete quality and production documentations as required.
• To train new employees and agency workers on department specifics.
• To implement good housekeeping procedures in the workplace and lead by example.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Ability to lead by example and be comfortable coaching those who are not achieving the standards expected.
• Confident and clear verbal communication skills.
• Working effectively with other key functions: operations, technical, hygiene team, to ensure all aspects of duties carried out.
• Ability to do all tasks to the highest standards with an ability to inspire others to do the same.
• At least 12 months of practical hands-on experience in food manufacturing environment.
• Good working knowledge of word and excel are essential.
• Flexible approach to working hours covering the needs of the business.

Further Information

Work times - 7am - 7pm. Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday - Week 2: Wedenesday, Thursday. This Production Supervisor position is in Crossmaglen, Northern Ireland.
