Job description

Seaview House is a 22 bed independent, private nursing home overlooking Ballyholme Bay in Bangor. We are looking for cook to join our team for two days a week and flexibility to cover extra shifts as and when needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals in line with residents' dietary requirements considering specific restrictions or allergies.
• Maintain an organised kitchen environment
• Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards following a cleaning schedule whilst complying with food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Manage stock, including ordering and inventory control.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Can prepare freshly made meals from scratch
• Baking skills
• Previous care home experience.
