Our client, a gluten free bakery that supplies most of their produce to America and Australia are looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join their team based in Crossmaglen. you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the high standards of our client's products. You will be responsible for overseeing quality control processes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise will help drive the company's commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• As the Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the high standards of our client's products.
• To work towards Production KPI in relation to output, waste, and cost.
• To execute the production plan adhering to running order and volumes.
• To train new employees and agency workers in department specifics.
• To implement good housekeeping procedures in the workplace and lead by example.
• To observe and enforce appropriate Health and Safety, Food Safety and Hygiene procedures always.
• Verifying that products adhere to established quality standards and customer specifications.
• Evaluating incoming raw materials to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Collecting and preparing samples for laboratory analysis.
• Conducting regular quality checks on the production line to ensure products meet standards.
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of quality control procedures and findings.
• Ensuring adherence to food safety regulations and standards like HACCP.

• Working effectively with other key functions: operations, technical, hygiene team, to ensure all aspects of duties carried out.
• Takes ownership and responsibility of all issues and tasks they encounter.
• Motivated to do all tasks to the highest standards with an ability to inspire others to do the same.
• Good working knowledge of word and excel are essential.
• To undertake other appropriate duties as deemed necessary within the scope of the role.

• Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.
• Flexible approach to working hours covering the needs of the business.

Further Information

Hours Per Week: The rotation hours would be one week- 48 hours and the second week would be 36 hours.
