Job description

We are recruiting for a Night Porter.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an efficient portering service throughout the night shift.
• Maintain cleanliness of all public areas including reception, foyer, toilets, and function spaces.
• Receive handover from the Duty Receptionist and clearly understand nightly tasks.
• Complete scheduled fire and security checks across the premises.
• Ensure all function areas are correctly set up for the following day.
• Operate the hotel switchboard according to procedures.
• Assist guests with wake-up calls, paper deliveries, and late-night room/bar service.
• Check in/out guests in the absence of the Receptionist.
• Support with bedroom servicing when needed.
• Uphold all health and safety standards.

• A responsible, proactive, and customer-focused individual.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during night shifts.
• Previous experience in a hotel or night porter role is desirable.
