Nursing of the elderly in a nursing home setting.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the administration of prescribed medication in accordance and the home's procedures and the NMC guidelines.
• To be able to co-ordinate and deliver outstanding person centred nursing care in a professional manner to the home's residents with general and dementia nursing needs based upon best practice and current standards and guidelines.
• Work as part of an effective team.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Registered General Nurse (RGN).
• 1 year experience in a similar role.
• Management skills needed for a care team.
• Ability to work set hours, flexible to meet the needs of the organisation.
• Must have a good command of written and spoken English for heath and safety purposes.
