Job description

We are looking for Local Experienced Drivers for; - Weekend Trip Work - Full Time Day/Night Shift Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and/or the Republic of Ireland. Freeburn Transport Ltd is an Equal Opportunities Employer.

Responsibilities

• Abide by health and safety requirements.
• Conduct daily walk around checks on a regular basis of both the lorry unit and the trailer/ fridge.
• Adhere to speed limits at all times and drive with care and attention, being aware of other vehicles, road users and pedestrians.
• Adhering to all relevant driving regulations and company policies.
• Treat with care and attention and respect all items of Customer and Company property.
• Communicate any problems immediately to the appropriate Operations Manager, Planning Managers, Compliance, or the Fleet Maintenance Manager.
• Deal with Customers in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner at all times.
• Abide by drivers’ hours, tacho and rest periods.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Class 1 HGV Licence.
• Up to Date DIGI and CPC Cards.
• Good understanding of safety procedures.
• Flexible approach to working hours.
