Job description

We are looking for a Support worker to join our Services in Magheramason, Derry, Londonderry BT47, Claudy, Derry, Londonderry BT47. Responsibilities

• Safeguarding, 1-1 support
• Supporting individuals with a learning disability/autism and behaviours that challenge within their own homes on a 2 to 1 basis 24/7
• You will support the residents with all aspects of daily living, personal care, and community participation
• Working to maintain a high level of support that’s required for the service needs
• Maintain and develop their community links, as well as accessing community and leisure pursuits to support their independent living and life skills
• Participate and be as enthusiastic about their likes and wants as they are

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• We want individuals with a passion to support others and make a difference to their everyday lives
• Work independently, multitask, and organise
• Quick learner, hands on, willing to be flexible in tasks and activities
• Flexible shift pattern to include days, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
