Part-Time Domiciliary Care Worker (Driving Position with access to own vehicle) Location: Northern Ireland (Mid Ulster & Ballymena). About Us: Helping Hands in the Community Ltd is committed to providing compassionate and professional care to individuals in our community. We are currently seeking dedicated Care Workers to join our team on a part-time basis to support service users with their daily living needs. Job Description: As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting service users with their daily tasks, promoting independence, and ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care
• Heat and serve meals
• Support service users
• Ensure the safety and well-being of service users at all times
• Follow care plans and report any concerns to the supervisor
• Maintain confidentiality and respect privacy

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Full UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle
• Ability to demonstrate a compassionate and respectful nature
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Basic understanding of health and safety procedures
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience in domiciliary or personal care (desirable but not essential)
• Good Communication Skills
• Flexibility
• Work well as part of a team
