Job description

You will required to work as part of a team taking care of children in a daycare setting. You will be required to ensure that health and safety rules are met. You will liaise with parents to provide a high quality of care to children in the setting ensuring they have activities that meet the age and stage of their development. The room leader will support you in your role.

Responsibilities

• Working in partnership with parents meeting the care needs of individual children
• Ensuring that high health and safety standards are followed at all times
• To work as a team under the supervision of the room leader to plan activities
• To ensure that the setting is kept clean and tidy

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Have completed or completing level 2 or 3 Childcare
