NWCare is one of the leading providers of domiciliary care in Northern Ireland, serving the community for well over 50 years. We are recruiting home care assistants to cover teas and evening rotas in Strabane. No training or qualifications are required as NWCare provides full bespoke training in their in-house training academy. We work a 4/3 rota pattern - Week 1 Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday Week 2 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday The teas 15:00 - 18:30 and evening rotas begin at 19:00 and finish at 23:00. These can be worked as one, two or three different rotas, e.g., you can work a morning and afternoon, a morning and evening, or indeed all three rotas. For parents with no childcare or for students who are at college/university during the day, the evening rotas offer a flexible option to earn extra money. Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Able to promote and deliver person centered care.
  • Able to promote dignity and respect when delivering care.
  • Be well organised/professional/caring.
  • Interested in working in the community within Health and Social Care.
  • Care about the community they live in.

Desirable Skills

  • QCF Level 3 or above in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Previous paid caring experience.
