Job description

To manage the day-to-day operations of a busy bakery and deli, ensuring high standards of product quality, customer service, hygiene, and profitability. The role involves overseeing staff, managing stock, maintaining compliance with food safety regulations, and delivering an exceptional customer experience

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily running of the bakery and deli, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Maintain high standards of food presentation, quality, and freshness.
  • Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff, ensuring high levels of performance and motivation.
  • Prepare staff rotas and manage attendance and absence cover.
  • Monitor sales performance, control costs, and work towards achieving sales targets.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Desirable Skills

Further Information

Saturday working will be required seasonally and to cover Holidays.
