Trainee Machine Operative based in Cookstown.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all working practices and procedures are followed at all times.
• Understand and complete all work-related documentation accurately.
• Undertake any other duties in line with capabilities.
• Maintenance and safe working practices and use of PPE.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Excellent timekeeping.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Positive and proactive approach to work.
• Willing to work in tandem with others to meet production targets and deadlines.

Desirable Skills

• Whilst not essential, it would be advantageous to be able to demonstrate a mechanical mind and an interest in manufacturing through work experience, hobbies, project work etc.

Further Information

Training will be given in the following areas: Operating a Homag panel saw to cut boards accurately to specification. Operating, setting, and maintaining edge banding machine. Using a forklift to load and unload materials safely. Learn about housekeeping and daily maintenance checks in the work area.
