Resurgam Youth Initiative hold 4 specifications within the EA Area Based Funding programme and are keen to recruit a professionally qualified Youth Worker who can support the Manager, overseeing a number of Sessional Staff and providing support with planning, delivery and measuring impact. The Resurgam Youth Initiative deliver provision in the target areas (Hillhall 1, Hilden 1 & 2, Blaris 1; Knockmore 1 & 2, Ballymacoss 1; Maze 2; Old Warren, Tonagh, Lagan Valley 1 & 2) and link with other providers to ensure Lisburn City has effective and targeted youth work participation. We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Youth Leader with strong managerial skills to oversee and develop youth programmes, mentor young individuals, and manage a team of volunteers and staff. The ideal candidate will have a passion for youth development, leadership experience, and the ability to create a supportive and engaging environment for young people.

Responsibilities

• Programme Development & Implementation: Design, coordinate, and implement youth programmes that align with organisational goals and Priorities for Youth.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Community Youth Work, Social Work or related Education field.
• Previous experience in youth leadership, programme coordination, or managerial roles (5 years’ experience).
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Further Information

Location: 3D Youth Centre, Drumbeg Drive, Lisburn, BT281QJ. Salary: £35,236 to £37,737 per annum, pro rata (30 hours). EANI Funded Post.
