Personal Secretary


Job description

We’re looking for a Personal Secretary to join our operations team in Northern Ireland, with hybrid working available. Personal Secretary to Operations Managers Hybrid Working Across Northern Ireland Up to £26,000 per annum (pro rata) Contract Type: Permanent 25 hours per week (part time) Closing Date: 18th September 2025

Responsibilities

  • Respond to and prioritise post and emails and take appropriate action.
  • Produce and keep up to date reports, correspondence, tables, databases, spreadsheets and other documents to a high standard of layout and accuracy.
  • Prepare and organise papers for meetings, attend meetings and produce minutes.
  • Liaise with other staff, external individuals and organisations in a professional and appropriate manner.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Minimum of 3 GCSE passes at Grade C or above (or equivalent) which must include English and Maths.
  • Minimum OCR / RSA Word Processing Stage 2 (or equivalent), OR Typing speed of 50- 55wpm and be proficient in the production of complex and specialist business documents.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience of working as a secretary to include experience of Minute taking.

Desirable Skills

  • Knowledge/experience working with SharePoint.
  • LCCI Executive Secretary’s Diploma (or equivalent).
