Job description

The post holder will be responsible for organising and delivering all aspects of the Out of School Facility, including activities, health & safety, well being of the children.

Responsibilities

• To ensure the room is appropriately laid out before each session and tidied away at the end of the session.
• To prepare and implement age appropriate activity plans.
• Maintain and evaluate the effectiveness of plans
• To ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to at all times and all written records are appropriately maintained in accordance with WHSCT Standards and Guidelines

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• NVQ Level 2 Childrens Care, Learning or Development or equivalent
• Experience managing or leading a team
• Willingness to undergo training required to fulfil the role

Desirable Skills

• NVQ Level 3 Childrens Care, Learning and Development or equivalent
• Paedatric First Aid
• Level 2 Food Safety
• Child Protection/Safeguarding
