Job description

We are recruiting home care assistants to cover part time rotas in Rathfriland, Hilltown and Maguiresbridge. No training or qualifications are required as NWCare provides full bespoke training in their in-house training academy. For mums with no childcare or for students who are at college/university during the day, the bed rotas offer a flexible option to earn extra money.

Responsibilities

• Care within the community - personal care
• Light meal preparation
• Companionship
• General tidy round leaving all areas clean and safe

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle
• Great communication skills
• Able to promote and deliver person centered care
• Able to promote dignity and respect when delivering care
• Interested in working in the community within Health and Social Care
• Care about the community they live in

Desirable Skills

• QCF Level 3 in health and social care
• Previous paid caring experience

Further Information
