Job description

To contribute to the provision of a modern, professional and responsive service to support NIHE business delivery by providing a plumbing service for Housing Executive properties while upholding safety guidelines and complying with all applicable Codes and Regulations in line with our vision and values.

Responsibilities

  • To undertake all plumbing work as necessary in the maintenance and refurbishment of Housing Executive stock, including, bathroom suites/ wet rooms, kitchen replacements, general pipework etc.
  • To undertake, as and when required, first and second fix plumbing work.
  • To perform inspections of plumbing systems to identify repair and or replace.
  • To provide a quality customer service and maintain a good customer relationship on behalf of the NIHE.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Have successfully completed an apprenticeship in Plumbing (either time served or skills based).
  • 2 years’ post Apprenticeship Plumbing experience. A form of transport will be provided to enable the post holder to carry out their duties
