Job description

The post holder will work in the Payroll Service Centre within the Business Services Organisation and support the Head and Deputy Head of Payroll with the delivery of regional priorities including the implementation and review of regional improvement strategies. Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Payroll and Payroll Customer Forum to develop the PSC work programme in accordance with regional strategic priorities
  • Support the Head of Payroll and PCF with the implementation of regional strategies, being responsible for planning, monitoring progress and coordinating the necessary actions to meet agreed milestones and deadlines.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • Have a university degree or recognised professional qualification AND have at least 2 years’ experience in a role which has included the adoption of a project management type approach to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Or Have 5 years’ experience in an administrative role of which 2 years should include the adoption of a project management type approach to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Have at least 2 years’ experience of collating and presenting high quality information.
