Looking for a new challenge? It's an exciting time at Sense, we now have an opportunity for a Support Worker to join our Residential Service in Carrickfergus. Edenvale Avenue is a 10 bedded residential service supporting individuals with sensory impairment and/or complex needs, a beautiful service, offering a supportive working environment which is commitment to quality, and an emphasis on training and development of our staff! The high staffing ratios reflect Sense’s commitment to provide high quality services that meet the unique needs of the people we support. Interviews are planned for this role on the 26th September 2025.

Responsibilities

• Supporting people with everyday tasks like cooking and cleaning.
• Personal care and hygiene.
• Helping with finances
• Medication and wellbeing.
• Going into the community for shopping or other trips.
• Supporting people with their social life and night life

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Willing to work towards relevant qualifications.

Desirable Skills

• A full UK Drivers Licence is desirable for this role.
