Job description

Involves serving customers, taking orders for food and drinks, managing payments, maintaining the bar and dining areas, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. Key duties include greeting guests, explaining menus, delivering orders accurately, checking on guests during their meal, handling complaints, and working collaboratively with kitchen and bar staff to maintain a smooth operation

• Service and knowledge of alcoholic, non-alcoholic, hot and cold beverages
• Service and knowledge of wines, cocktails and speciality coffees

• Assist prepare and clear rooms for events if required
• Assist with luggage and other duties which provide service excellence to the hotel guest

Desirable Skills

• L2 certificate in general food and beverage service skills or
• L2 apprenticeship in hospitality and catering (food & beverage services) or
• L2 diploma in professional food and beverage service.
• L2 award in the principles of customer service in HLTT.
• L2 health and safety at work.
• L2 food hygiene.
• Professional experience of bar (& food) service similar 4 star hotel.
• Knowledge of wines and wine service with the ability to upsell.
• Knowledge of cocktail making and service with the ability to upsell.
