Job description

involves ensuring guest rooms and public areas are clean, sanitary, and fully stocked, including cleaning bathrooms, changing linens, and restocking amenities. Key responsibilities also include reporting maintenance issues, managing guest requests efficiently, maintaining inventory, and adhering to hotel policies, safety regulations, and sustainability practices.

Responsibilities

• Customer care.
• Cleaning and servicing bedrooms and bathrooms to the required standard.
• Clean and service self-catering Lodges (on site).
• Clean and service public areas.
• Clean and service conference rooms.
• Clean a range of surfaces: glass, tiles, floors, carpets.
• Maintain levels of cleaning supplies and linen.
• Report maintenance issues.
• Complete shift paperwork.
• Health and safety at work.
• This position requires lifting and carrying - linen, furniture, etc.
• Self-catering units on site but walking is required.
• Focused on meeting our customer's expectations

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Permitted to legally live and work in Northern Ireland/UK (evidence of immigration status and right to work with ID).
• Time keeping skills.
• Local knowledge.

Desirable Skills

• NVQ L2 Housekeeping Skills.
• L2 Health and Safety at Work Fire Safety and Prevention.
• Professional hands on working experience of housekeeping in a 4 star hotel environment.
• Professional work experience in similar 4 star self-catering chalets.
