HR Officer
Job description
As HR Officer, you will oversee and manage all aspects of human resources in the Company, and will provide support and guidance for all HR activities. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to drive business performance.
Responsibilities
- Management and administration of all aspects of HR, overseeing and managing the recruitment process, onboarding of employees, planning, organising, and delivering training and development for all staff.
- Maintenance of on-going training/skills analysis, and development of training plans.
- You will also be responsible for absence management and employee relations issues.
- You will develop and maintain HR policies and procedures ensuring they are implemented in a consistent manner and assist with health and safety duties as and when required.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- You will be able to demonstrate previous experience in a generalist HR role.
- You will have excellent employment law knowledge.
- You will have the ability to communicate with people at all levels via verbal and written forms, be proficient in Microsoft suite and have the ability to prioritise workloads.
Desirable Skills
- A CIPD qualification and previous experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment would be advantageous.
