Good Relations Officer
Job description
Choice Housing Ireland Limited is seeking to recruit a Good Relations Officer to assist in delivering the Shared Housing Programme. You will develop the necessary components to improve community cohesion within and between shared housing schemes and surrounding communities. You will engage, enable and empower local community groups to identify, liaise and coordinate the development and delivery of concerted Good Relations Plans.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the development and delivery of concerted good relations plans.
- Delivering the Shared Housing Programme.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- 2 plus years’ experience of building effective working relationships with community groups, public representatives and statutory agencies.
- Knowledge of best practice in community development and empowerment.
Desirable Skills
- Demonstrate a track record in negotiating effectively with stakeholders, to ensure successful partnerships and positive outcomes.
