Support People to Grow, Thrive & Explore the World - Join Peter’s Hill, Belfast! At Peter’s Hill, we support a group of people with learning disabilities, mental health diagnosis and complex needs to live fulfilling, independent lives in a warm and vibrant setting. With thirteen single occupancy apartments, this is a service dedicated to a person-centred approach.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a trusting and professional relationship with the people who use our services and act in a supportive and empathetic manner towards them.
• Display compassion and sensitivity to the people who use our services’ and next of kin needs.
• Contribute towards a harmonious and therapeutic environment.
• Support the people who use our services to manage their physical health, mental health and wellbeing through the development and implementation of an individual support plan.
• Identifies problems and issues and work with the people who use our services to provide the most appropriate solutions to promote wellbeing for all.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• To be willing to work various shifts which may include days, nights, evenings and weekends.
• Experience of supporting an individual with household tasks and/or providing emotional support.
• An interest in working with people within a care environment.
