Make Someone’s Later Years Their Best Years - Join the Greenvale Team At Greenvale, we support 11 women aged 50 to 90 to live meaningful, active lives in a friendly, community-focused home. Many of the people we support have mobility or physical health needs, and we take great pride in providing a warm, engaging, and respectful environment where they are seen, heard, and celebrated.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a trusting and professional relationship with the people who use our services and act in a supportive and empathetic manner towards them.
  • Display compassion and sensitivity to the people who use our services’ and next of kin needs.
  • Contribute towards a harmonious and therapeutic environment.
  • Support the people who use our services to manage their physical health, mental health and wellbeing through the development and implementation of an individual support plan.
  • Identifies problems and issues and work with the people who use our services to provide the most appropriate solutions to promote wellbeing for all.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

  • To be willing to work various shifts, which may include days, nights, evenings and weekends.
  • Experience of supporting an individual with household tasks and/or providing emotional support.
  • Knowledge and understanding of intellectual disability issues.
