Job description

The post holder will be responsible for, through the Head of Service for Mental Health Unscheduled Care, the operational management of South Eastern Home Treatment Services. Please see employer website for full job details & person specification.

Responsibilities

• Provide managerial and clinical leadership for the service and ensure effective management and deployment of all resources.
• Contribute to ensuring that the vision, strategic and operational plans and policies for mental health services are communicated to all staff for whom the post holder has responsibility and that awareness is maintained.
• Contribute to ensuring active partnership between mental health services and primary/community care colleagues in meeting the needs of individuals with mental health difficulties and their carers and families.
• Promote and develop partnership working with stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Have a relevant professional qualification and are registered or are eligible to register with relevant professional regulatory body.
• Have worked for at least 2 years as Band 7 or equivalent within a Mental Health Service.
