Job description

To assist the Leaders in providing a safe, high quality programme and care for children aged between 6 months and 14 years.

Responsibilities

• Help prepare and fully set out the room before children arrive and tidy up after the children/young people leave.
• Help provide and take part in all the group’s activities. To understand and realise the importance of play for the development.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• OCN Level 2 or CCLD Level 2 Early Years.
• At least 6 months experience working in a child care setting.

Desirable Skills

• NVQ Level 3 or above in Youth Work or NVQ Level 3 or above in Early Years.
• 12 months or more experience of working in a childcare setting. Child Protection.
