The Churches Trust is acommunity organisation dedicated to supporting individuals and families across the Derry/Londonderry area. We are currently seeking self-employed Personal Assistants to join our team and provide essential support to people in their own homes, helping them maintain independence and quality of life. About the Role As a Personal Assistant, you will work directly with clients, offering practical help with day-to-day tasks. This is a flexible, self-employed position, ideal for individuals who are caring, reliable and motivated to make a difference in their community.

Responsibilities

• Assisting clients with household tasks such as light cleaning, laundry and meal preparation.
• Providing companionship and emotional support.
• Supporting clients to attend appointments, shopping trips or social activities.
• Encouraging independence and dignity in all aspects of care.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Caring and compassionate nature with good communication skills.
• Reliable, trustworthy and able to work independently.
• Previous experience in care or support work (desirable but not essential).
• Access to a vehicle and full driving licence.
• Access NI Enhanced Disclosure will be required if appointed.
