Job description

To work as part of a team to provide safe and effective person-centred nursing care to elderly residents with dementia. A full job description is available upon request of an application pack.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with all personal care requirements.
• Assist residents with toileting needs.
• Assist residents with meals and feeding as required.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Must be NISCC registered.
• Good communication skills.
• At least six months experience as a Care Assistant in a similar environment - nursing, residential or community care.

Desirable Skills

• Previous dementia nursing care experience in a similar environment.
