About the Agency: We are one of NFU Mutual's Agencies, covering North and East Down and based in offices in Newtownards & Saintfield. We have excelled in providing a first-class service to our ever-increasing portfolio of diverse business and personal clients in the insurance, financial services and risk management sectors. We have an additional exciting opportunity for a someone to join our growing and successful team. About the role: As a Claims & Accounts Handler within our team, you’ll play a key role in the success of an expanding local business, ensuring the office runs like clockwork and our customers are always happy.
Responsibilities
- You will assist with day-to-day Account handling while also providing essential administrative support to ensure smooth operations within the office.
- Providing exceptional customer service, you will manage claims from initial notification through to resolution.

Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Minimum Maths & English GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade C or above.
- Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, & relationship building abilities.
- Pro-active and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent organisational and problem solving skills.
- Strong IT literacy skills.
Desirable Skills
- Desired - A Levels &/or degree (or equivalent)
- Experience of and an understanding of the insurance/financial services sector preferable, but not essential.
Further Information
£23,000 - £27,000 per annum Full time DOE (Pro Rata for Part time hours) Open to full time or part time hours.
