We have exciting opportunities for Residential Childcare Workers within our Residential Short Break Services for Children with Disabilities. Where You'll Work: Willowgrove Banbridge. Providing short breaks for children and young people with disabilities within the Southern Health and Social Care Trust.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, compassionate care and support to children and young people during their short stays.
• Help create a fun, engaging, and supportive environment where every child thrives.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Experience of working with children and young people (does not have to be gained in a formal employment setting)
• Experience of keeping records/daily notes or contributing to reports.
• Experience of working within safeguarding policy and procedures.
• A valid driving license or alternatively be able to demonstrate how you can meet the mobility requirements of the post.

Desirable Skills

• Level 3 qualification or above in a childcare/healthcare/social science related subject.
• Experience of working with children and young people living with a disability.
• Experience of working in a residential setting.

Further Information

Fixed to December 2026 (Maternity Cover). Salary £26,142.40 to £29,463.72 per annum pro rata. Closing Date Midnight, Sunday 21 September 2025. Interviews 30 September 2025.
