Job description

We are looking to recruit a Domestic Assistant to join our highly trained and caring team, within a well-presented residential care home. You will join a small team of dedicated staff and you will be responsible for ensuring a clean safe environment is provided for our residents, visitors, and staff. You will be an important part of the team that ensures residents in our care feel valued as individuals. You’ll be a team player with the flexibility and commitment to meet the needs of the home.

Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties for residents in a manner which respects their wishes, gently encourages independence and enables them to make choices.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• At least 6 months experience cleaning or undertaking a range of general housework duties in a work or home setting.

Desirable Skills

• Experience of working within a residential/care setting.
