Job description

We are seeking a reliable HGV Driver to carry out multidrop deliveries across the local area. The role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently, operating a vehicle-mounted crane for loading/unloading, and ensuring timely deliveries to multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Operate HGV vehicles in compliance with road safety regulations
• Use vehicle-mounted crane to load and unload goods securely
• Perform multidrop deliveries to commercial and residential locations
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report defects
• Maintain accurate delivery records and customer documentation
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery points

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Valid HGV Class 2 (or Class 1) licence
• CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
• Good communication and time management skills

Desirable Skills

• Crane operation certification (e.g., HIAB or equivalent)
• Experience in multidrop delivery preferred
