NWCare is one of the leading providers of domiciliary care in Northern Ireland, serving the community for well over 50 years. We are recruiting home care assistants to cover morning, lunch and evening rotas in Strabane. No training or qualifications are required as NWCare provides full bespoke training in their in-house training academy. • Care in the community - personal care.
• Light meal preparation.
• Provide companionship.
• General tidy round, leaving all areas safe.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Full driving licence and access to a motor vehicle.
• Great communication skills
• Able to promote and deliver person centred care.
• Able to promote dignity and respect when delivering care.

Desirable Skills

• QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
• Previous paid caring experience.
• Interested in working in the community within Health and Social Care.
• Care about the community they live in.

Further Information

Work Time: We work a 4/3 rota pattern Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday The mornings begin at 07:00 - 14:30: afternoons 15:00 - 18:30 and evening rotas begin at 19:00 and finish at 23:00. These can be worked as one, two or three different rotas, e.g. you can work a morning and afternoon, a morning and evening, or indeed all three rotas.
