DEPTH Programme Manager
Job description
The College is seeking applications for a DEPTH Progranme Manager for a 4 year position based in our Strand Road campus. The DEPTH Programme Manager will lead the North West Digital Employment Pathways Training Hub (NW DEPTH), a PEACEPLUS Investment Area 2.3 initiative. This project aims to upskill and reskill 2,000 individuals and deliver a North West Digital Skills Strategy that will guide the transformation of the cross-border region into a Smart Region of national and international significance. The role requires strategic oversight of programme delivery, ensuring alignment with funding objectives, effective planning, and robust implementation. The postholder will champion best practices in programme management, stakeholder engagement, and digital skills development while ensuring measurable outcomes. This role will act as the primary liaison between the College, PEACEPLUS/SEUPB, academic teams, and wider regional stakeholders. NW DEPTH is funded by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB), designed to foster cross-border collaboration, employability, and regional digital innovation. NW DEPTH - North West Digital Employment Pathways Training Hub (NW DEPTH) is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders, including government, business, and community organisations
- Ensure financial compliance across the project, adhering to SEUPB, College, and statutory requirements
- Design, implement, and maintain M&E frameworks to track progress against objectives, activities, and deliverables
- Oversee mixed-methods data collection, including surveys, focus groups, interviews, and utilise learning analytics
- Produce detailed internal and external progress and impact reports for committees, funding bodies, and oversight authorities
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Have at least a Level 6 qualification in the area of Business, Education, IT, or other relevant area
- Have 3 years experience in a Programme or Project Management role
Desirable Skills
- Hold a recognised Project Management qualification, e.g. PRINCE2, Agile, APM, PMI, or equivalent
- Have experience of digital transformation initiatives
- Have experience working in the Higher and/or Further Education Sectors
