Job description
The Resort has a large number of bedrooms including suites, deluxe and superior rooms. We also have self-accommodation in the form of riverside cabins and cottage suites set in the grounds as well as our Red Oaks Residence and Charles Lanyon Lodge. As Linen Porter, you will join a dedicated hard-working team and ensure all hotel accommodation is clean and tidy ready for our guests. This is a physical role, required to use and move linen trollies through corridors and lift areas. The successful applicant will enjoy working as part of a team, and have a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities
- To clean and service the Resort as directed by Housekeeping Supervisor or Managers.
- Deliver clean linen to the bedrooms.
- Remove all used linen from bedrooms and bring it to the laundry department.
- To stock linen cupboards.
- To report any maintenance issues directly to the Housekeeping and Laundry Manager.
- Receive housekeeping deliveries and put them away into the appropriate stores.
- To be fully conversant and comply with the health, safety, hygiene, fire and security regulations and procedures of the hotel and to ensure others are aware of their responsibilities in this regard.
- To carry out any other duties as requested by Department heads or Management.

Essential Skills
- Have good verbal communication & to be a team player
- Must have excellent attention to detail
- Flexible approach to work including weekend work
Desirable Skills
- Previous housekeeping experience
