Our Client, Hughes Group, is seek a Team Line Leader to join their expanding team, based in Dungannon. Hughes Group is a dynamic innovator in the mushroom sector of the agri-food industry, working with a network of growers to deliver top grade mushrooms, vegan and vegetarian product lines and superlative service to our customers and business partners across the UK and Ireland The Team Line Leader will assist the production supervisor/manager in the day to day running of the department and ensure adequate and trained people resources, food quality and maximum efficiency is achieved. To provide cover within production in the supervisor’s absence.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop your team to achieve company operational objectives and KPI’s..
• Ensure that all Food safety, quality and Health & Safety rules and procedures are followed by all operatives.
• Carry out all Food Safety and Quality Checks including ccp.
• Ensure the safe operation of machinery including start up checks and insure defects are reported and actioned.
• Ensure that all operatives comply with quality and good manufacturing procedures (GMP).
• Ensure that the area is always kept clean and tidy, using a ‘clean as you go’ rule.
• Ensure all company documentation is completed accurately where required.
• Ensure all orders are produced to the highest quality standard, within the set timeframe and within customer specification.
• Ensure all waste and resources are kept to a minimum.
• Assist in preparation for internal and external audits and during onsite audits/visits.
• Any other duties that are deemed within your capability in accordance with the role requirements and level within the company.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Experience in supervising teams within food manufacturing or similar.
• Ability to motivate, coach, and manager shift staff to meet production targets.
• Knowledge of food hygiene (HACCP), health and safety, and GMP.
• Good communication and time management.
