Bookkeeper
Job description
You will work for a company in Omagh that offers a wide range of accounting services to businesses and individuals. Working with a dedicated team of accounting professionals you will carry out bookkeeping duties.
Responsibilities
- Processing sales and purchase invoices.
- Processing cheque payments.
- Direct debits & transfers.
- Completion of bank reconciliations and entering data into accounting software.
- Completion of monthly and quarterly VAT returns for UK and ROI businesses.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Recent experience in a Bookkeeping role.
- Practical knowledge of computerised accounts packages, preferably Xero.
- Excellent IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Good analytical and numeracy skills.
- Ability to multitask, manage deadlines and workload.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills.
Desirable Skills
- Experience working in an accountancy practice.
