Job description

We are seeking individuals to join our kitchen team as Part-Time Kitchen Staff. You will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, and support overall kitchen operations. Training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of food items under supervision. Wash, peel, chop, and store ingredients as needed.
• Ensure kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are clean and organized. Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries. Dispose of waste properly and maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas.
• Support chefs and other kitchen staff during busy periods.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Previous kitchen or food service experience preferred, but not required. Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices (training can be provided).
• Ability to use initiative. Work in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment. Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Further Information

Work Time: 8am-2.30pm. Shift schedules vary depending on business needs.
