Assist with all daily living activities for example, washing dressing, toileting/incontinence and assisting with mealtimes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all daily living activities for example, washing dressing, toileting/incontinence and assisting with mealtimes.
• Closely monitor residents who may be confused and/or who have behavioural problems.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Have sound knowledge of current issues in care for elderly people.
• Have completed the basic mandatory training in adult care.
• Have a valid permit to work in the UK.
• Be flexible and able to work on own initiative.
• Be able to complete an Enhanced Access NI check.

Further Information

Salary: £12.50 up to £24.00 per hour, to be confirmed. Work Time: Long day, half-day, nights, to be confirmed. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 months experience (this preferred but not essential) working with the elderly in a care or nursing home setting or studying for or attained a care related qualification.
