Silver Cloud Care NI is currently recruiting Care Assistants/Companions for our clients in the ANTRIM area The ideal candidate will be empathetic, caring, compassionate with a desire to care and support vulnerable adults in their own home. Being a Carer to someone is not just any job. As a Silver Carer you provide a selfless and much needed service . There is nothing more rewarding than knowing you have just brightened up someone's day! We pay £14 per hour plus Mileage! Minimum Call Time 1 hour

Responsibilities

• Ensure physical and emotional wellbeing
• Support independence with dignity and respect
• Assisting with dressing, bathing, toileting, and mobility support
• Meal preparation
• Provide much needed company and and engaging conversation
• Social Outings, go for a cuppa and a walk around the shops

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Driver with access to own car

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience working as a Care Assistant (not essential as full training will be provided)

Further Information

You will be required to undergo an enhanced Access NI enhanced check Be registered with NISCC (or willing to register) Complete all mandatory training. We offer flexible working hours and a great rate of pay.
