Catchment Officer (CALMS)
Job description
The Catchment Officer (CALM Project) post will contribute to the delivery of the Catchment Action for Local Management Project; (CALM) Catchment work programme for Loughs Agency. This project is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). The CALM Project partnership includes East Border Region (EBR) as the Lead Partner, Armagh, Banbridge, and Craigavon Council, Agri-Food and Biosciences Institute, Inland Fisheries Ireland and Ulster University.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the prioritisation, scoping, planning and monitoring of nature based solution measures in the CALM project area.
- The postholder will work in close collaboration with the broader CALM Partnership team to ensure the effective coordination and delivery of project outcomes, targets and objectives.

Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Minimum 2:1 BSc (Hons) Degree in a Scientific subject (e.g. Environmental Sciences, Biological Sciences, Marine Biology or Zoology or other relevant subjects) or equivalent qualification.
