Job description

To deliver freshly baked goods and other bakery products to customers in a timely, safe, and professional manner, ensuring excellent customer service and maintaining the quality and integrity of all products during transport.

Responsibilities

• Load bakery products safely and efficiently onto the delivery vehicle.
• Deliver bread, pastries, cakes, and other items to shops, cafés, restaurants, and individual customers according to a set schedule.
• Communicate promptly with the bakery or logistics team about any delivery issues, customer feedback, or route changes.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and report any discrepancies or delays.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Full clean driving licence.
• Excellent time management and route planning skills.
• Ability to lift and carry bakery trays and boxes safely.

Desirable Skills

• Proven experience in delivery driving, preferably within the food or bakery sector.
• Be familiar with technology and able to use a handheld device similar to a smartphone.
