Full job description Job Summary Urgently seeking a reliable and skilled HGV Driver to join our team, due to continuous growth, Working a set Monday to Friday, 7am - 5pm, the ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations primarily within Northern Ireland. This role requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism while on the road. As a HGV Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and upholding our reputation for excellent service. Undertake other duties as required. Responsibilities

• HGV 1 Driver
• HGV 1 Driver - Container
• Operate HGV and loads in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and logs.
• Communicate effectively with in-house Transport team regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, particularly regarding safety protocols.
• Manage routes efficiently to optimise delivery times while minimising fuel consumption.

Skills and Qualifications

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with Container trailer loads.
• Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices for safe driving.
• Proven 3 years of professional Driving experience.
• Experience of operating Container trailer loads.
• Experience of operating Curtainsider trailer loads.
• Have a Full Driver CPC
• Have a Full HGV Class 1 Licence
• Full & clean driving licence.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills to liaise with team members professionally.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team when required.
