As Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for providing skilled, person-centred support while also mentoring, developing and managing a team of support staff. Your responsibilities will include creating and managing rotas using People Planner, conducting supervision and overseeing performance to ensure a high standard of care is consistently delivered. You will also be involved in attending reviews, meeting with professionals and families, and completing both internal and external audits to ensure the service is compliant with relevant legislations and standards. Responsibilities
- Assisting the Manager with the day to day running of the service.
- Support the people we support to learn and develop new skills.
- Develop and mentor the staff team.
- Create and maintain positive working relationships with family, carers and advocates as well as liaising professionally with other services involved with the person we support.
- Create, develop and update support plans accordingly in line with our values and outcomes.
- Rota management.
- Assist with staff performance management systems.
- Assist with Audits and inspections.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Experience of Supervising and Managing staff.
- Level 5 Diploma in relevant Health and Social Care qualification or willingness to works towards this.
Further Information
Our Service operates Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.00pm, providing tailored support for up to twelve adults (FTE). We focus on promoting independence, achieving personal goals and creating purpose and meaning in the lives of the people we support through activities they enjoy and that matter to them. Please not we do not provide Sponsorship.
